Golem Brewery

Overview

A fun logo for Browar Golem, a local craft brewery from Poznań, based on the ancient and mythical golem legends. In Jewish folklore the golem is a creature shaped from clay and brought to life with a word: enormously strong, but with no will of its own. I built the mark around the golem's chunky silhouette and gave it a hop cone on its chest, framed by ears of grain, so the monster and the brewing sit in one simple badge. Browar Golem never had a fixed line-up and kept experimenting with new beers, so the branding had to be just as flexible. The golem, the hop and the badge all work on their own, on different label shapes and across a wide range of colour schemes.
