About

Twenty years in design, product, branding and everything in between.
Started in web development, but design took over quickly and never let go.

I've been drawn to computers and to making things look good for as long as I can remember. After graduating from Poznań University of Technology I started out in web development, then went freelance and drifted steadily toward design and branding. The technical side never left me. It's probably my biggest asset, and it makes working with developers and technical leads far easier than it might otherwise be.

After years of freelancing and running my own small consultancy, I moved into product design and from there into leadership. Almost ten years ago I joined Slideworx as Head of Design, coaching a team of designers through continuous product work. When mTab acquired Slideworx in 2019 I kept the role and carried on unifying the UX across our products. These days my work sits somewhere between design leadership, product strategy, and growing the people on my team.

Most of my design work now runs through AI. My team works in Claude, Claude Code and Claude Design across specs, research synthesis and prototyping, with Figma alongside when it's the right tool. Instead of static mockups we hand engineering working prototypes built on our design system, which makes the work easier for developers and AI coding agents to estimate and build. The surprise has been that AI gives me more time to think about the design itself, not less.
